Surgery Center Policies
The Plastic Surgery Center provides comprehensive plastic surgery services for patients throughout North Carolina, including Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham, and surrounding communities. Our goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and efficient experience for every patient from consultation through recovery.
General Surgery Center Policies
Patients must be at least 18 years of age to receive treatment at The Plastic Surgery Center. If you are currently pregnant, believe you may be pregnant, or are planning a pregnancy, please notify our team when scheduling your appointment.
We accept several convenient payment options, including cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation Policy
Due to demand for our surgical procedures and consultations, we recommend scheduling appointments as early as possible. While we make every effort to accommodate patient preferences, appointment availability may be limited.
Consultation fees are collected at the time your appointment is scheduled. During the scheduling process, please inform our staff of any medical conditions or special requirements, including:
- Allergies
- Existing health conditions
- High blood pressure
- Pregnancy or possible pregnancy
- Physical disabilities
- Need for wheelchair accessibility
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full, and a new consultation fee will be required to reserve another appointment time.
By scheduling an appointment with The Plastic Surgery Center, you acknowledge and agree to our cancellation policy.
Arrival Time Requirements
To ensure a smooth check-in experience:
- New patients should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment to complete required paperwork.
- Returning patients should arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled appointment.
Patients who arrive late may have their appointment time shortened to accommodate other scheduled patients.
Cell Phone, Camera, and Recording Device Policy
To protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA regulations, photography, video recording, and the use of recording devices are prohibited within our office.
Patients and visitors may not take photos or videos anywhere inside the facility, including before, during, or after consultations, procedures, or treatments.
This policy helps protect the confidentiality and privacy of all patients, staff members, and visitors.
